We see computer science as a subject that provides students with a critical lens for interpreting the world around them. We believe students learn the best from an empowered teacher. So, we design our curriculum and lesson plans with a customized to your school condition and provide the teacher with supports that enable them to understand and to perform the projects to their students. Knowing that many of our teachers are new to programming, so our resources and strategies specifically target their needs. Our curriculum and lesson plans is available for primary and secondary education.
Our curriculum is based on ‘learning by doing’, so it’s project-based learning. We prioritize experiences that are active, and relevant to students’ lives. We encourage students to be curious problem solvers that can express themselves through their creation. With the Samytronix lesson plan materials, we seek to build a community of teachers, students by providing support, training, and channels to communication and feedback.
Our mentor and Samytronix Head of Education, Jallson Surjo is a STEM educator, maker, and technology enthusiast that has over 10 years of experience as a technology integrator in Apple Education for schools in Indonesia. His passion to spread the culture of "makers movement" and the coding curriculum to schools is one of the reasons we are optimistic in carrying out our mission. You will meet him a lot for discussions about the curriculum.
